Canadian Summer School on Quantum Information 2013
Registration deadline: 13 May 2013
The Institute for Quantum Science and Technology will host the 13th Annual Canadian Summer School on Quantum Information (CSSQI 2013) on 17-21 June 2013 at the University of Calgary. The summer school welcomes graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from Canada and other countries to learn about leading aspects of quantum information science from world-leading researchers in a stimulating environment of lectures. It is immediately followed by the Canadian Quantum Information Students' Conference 2013.
The CSSQI aims to provide introductory lectures on quantum information science to a general audience of graduate level computer scientists, physicists, and mathematicians. The summer school will feature lectures on basic and advanced topics, including the basics of quantum information processing, quantum information theory, quantum algorithms and lower bounds, implementations and models, quantum communication, non-locality, and interactions.
Students will be responsible for a fee of $50, which does not include meals or accommodations. Some support for transportation and accommodations may be available.
