CryptoWorks21 is pleased to be able to offer the following opportunities to participants. At present, all funding is restricted to participants at the University of Waterloo.

Awards

Thanks to support from RBC, there are two awards available to CryptoWorks21 participants:

• RBC Graduate Scholarship in Cybersecurity
• RBC Outstanding Thesis Award in Cybersecurity in the Quantum Era

Travel funding

For the 2019-2020 academic year, travel funding is available to support CryptoWorks21 participants' attendance in relevant summer/winter schools, conferences, and workshops. For more information about how and when to apply, see the travel funding page.

Graduate Research Studentship (GRS)

For the 2019-2020 academic year, funding is available to supervisors of CryptoWorks21 graduate students in the faculties of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science, to support Graduate Research Studentships. Supervisors will receive an email prior to each term asking for funding needs for the term.
