Marc's lecture will encompass his personal story \ journey as a serial technology entrepreneur ---the "war stories" and what he learned from them. The mistakes he made and the things he got right. The audience will hear from someone who has tried, failed and had tremendous success in commercializing technology---the "blood, toil, sweat, tears and triumphs" of commercializing technology so to speak.


Marc Morin is the co-founder and CEO of Auvik Networks, creators of cloud-based software that makes it dramatically easier for IT managed service providers to monitor and manage their clients' IT networks. A serial entrepreneur, Marc has previously co-founded several successful companies, including PixStream (acquired by Cisco for USD$369 million) and Sandvine (Sold to Francisco Partners for CAD$582 million) and a seed investor in a number of local tech companies. Marc holds a BaSc. in electrical engineering and an MBA.
